XCP PressGuard - Corrosion Protection Fluid for the Printing Press
Target Metals
XCP™ Pressguard is specially formulated to protect against corrosion and maintain all the major metals found in today's highly developed printing presses:
- Steel ST37 (DIN 10130)
- Grey Cast Iron (DIN 1691)
- Steel 100 Cr6 GKZ (DIN 17230)
- Copper (E-Cu)
- Brass (CuZn30Pb3)
- Nickel (DIN 17740 & 17750)
- Steel X20 Cr13
Application:
- Apply a liberal even coating with a clean wiper or brush to adequately cover the metal surfaces requiring protection.
- To ensure optimum protection, weekly application is recommended as part of ongoing press maintenance, as is the use of corrosion approved press chemistry.
- Should not be applied to printing plates, rubber or plastic surfaces. Any accidental contact with these should be wiped off using a dry wiper.
- This product must not be used as a substitute for press lubricants.
